Stranger than fiction [2006] - Effect review

This is not an ordinary movie review, it is a bit more spicy, it is about how a movie has moved and provoked a lot in me .... If you haven't seen the movie, this post is a HUGE spoiler!!

The story in short is about a man in this world called Harold Crick played by Will Ferrel, who finds out that he is a part of some novelist's new work! His life is being crafted by her, Kay Eiffel played by the Emma Thompson! He doubts his mental state until he was able to reach her, his aid to get some reason out of this case he's facing is Dr. Jules Hilbert played by Dustin Hoffman "who has  GREAT office in the movie, loved the windows although am fond of big ones but they were nice! OK now back to my review". The movie is very interesting with the idea and perspective of what if a person writes the life of another! leaving that other without a choice but to go along as they wrote. Eventually Harold gets the scrip Kay is writing and tells her that he likes it and doesn't want her to change it, although he knows he will die in her story. Then she decides to change the story ending to a happy one. The cherry on top for me and the most enjoyable part of the movie is the ending line said by Kay Eiffel:

Kay Eiffel: As Harold took a bite of Bavarian sugar cookie, he finally felt as if everything was going to be ok. Sometimes, when we lose ourselves in fear and despair, in routine and constancy, in hopelessness and tragedy, we can thank God for Bavarian sugar cookies. And, fortunately, when there aren't any cookies, we can still find reassurance in a familiar hand on our skin, or a kind and loving gesture, or subtle encouragement, or a loving embrace, or an offer of comfort, not to mention hospital gurneys and nose plugs, an uneaten Danish, soft-spoken secrets, and Fender Stratocasters, and maybe the occasional piece of fiction. And we must remember that all these things, the nuances, the anomalies, the subtleties, which we assume only accessorize our days, are effective for a much larger and nobler cause. They are here to save our lives. I know the idea seems strange, but I also know that it just so happens to be true. And, so it was, a wristwatch saved Harold Crick. [from IMDB]

The quote above is the most touching part of the whole movie, it sums up all the story and gives us a simple message that life, no matter how complex we make or see it, in the end it goes back to the simple basics! Happiness in life is not so hard, and hope is always there, we can see beauty or look away from it, it is our choice really :} 

So for the sake of a happy life that I wish everyone, notice the simple things in your life, take them for granted and appreciate them while you can.
