I couldn't agree with you more. You wanna laugh more even? After a whole summer of threatening, to a level even in airport before you travel they ask you: Did you shut down the light? now read the minister's statement here a he says:

i.e., somehow they didn't have enough power but they avoided the outage. But it's them not the poor people who were following the guidelines, shutting down lights, or more to the people who were traveling all summer :P

you may wanna read my part about tahreej as my friend calls it.

Bashar

What's even more funny is the amount of lights in big buildings in Kuwait city, offices especially & they for some reason were not a burden! :D this is a note by a fellow sweet blogger "Shurouq" ,, for the record that is ;p bec. i didn't notice it till when she spoke about it, what is their electricity usage compared to houses?

more & more contradictions if you want to look deep into it, the money for the campaign for instance could have been used better!

let aside the point am tackling which is why they shift & change principles! how are we supposed to buy it if they keep changing them!

it is an outrage & tahreej indeed .. even our neighbours laugh at us!

I still can't emphasize enough about architectural insulation. How can you expect the AC to save power when doors and windows are left open all the time while business buildings (in the city) have enormous windows?

Read Acheology Uncovered's recent post. Where she works, they have to keep the door open because it's "too cold"!
