تكملة للي قالته نانو .. وصلني هالمسج

بيان من شباب الكويت: بعد البيان النسائي عن ابناء الحريري و إعجاب بناتنا فيهم.. فنقول فقط و نكرر المثل الكويتي القائل: صخلة الفريج ماتحب الا التيس الغريب!؟

حلو تبادل الأدوار و إن الرجل يحس بإحساس المرأة لما يكون للرجل دور البطولة :) أحس حرة البرتقالة و الضجة اللي صارت حولها طلعت بهالعزا !!؟ عسى الله يرحمك يالحريري، مع إني مو انسانة سياسية كلش بس اقدر العمل الخيري اللي كان يسويه بديرته

Exhausted!

Its been so crazy the last two days I mean REALLY crazy, I have been going in & out, here & there. Sleep & keeping away from the steering wheel is all I have in mind!

When I was a Kid

I used to think they called the ministry of Education the women's ministry because of the growing number of Kuwaiti female teachers till I discovered that also in the main buildingS of the ministry there are a huge number of women! If I would put a ratio it would be like 6 females for each male !! The thing that surprised me that all the women that I meet yesterday while going round & round from one office to the other is that they all were nice :D they smiled back & two of them actually gave me their office phone numbers to about my papers & not come unless they are there :}

I used to think that ALL MEN know how to deal with gov. Paper work, they know what papers to get & to be signed by whom; I even got to the point of thinking that they know this by default a known thing that is planted in the MALE brain! I guess its because women around me never spoke about these things & never actually had to go through them! But now that am all grown up & at the time tracing some paper work for me I actually know that you "تتبهذل" till you know the right way to get your work done :}

I used to think that all kids should go to school waking up! So even if I happened to be lacking of sleep I should tape my eyes up so that I do not fall asleep in the car (on the way to school) nor in classes ;p.. Last Wednesday on the way to work I saw a cute girl looking at me while facing their cars back window I smiled in her face & then !! She fell asleep! Just vanished in the car LOL .. Poor kid she should sleep earlier.

مال البخيل ياكله العيار

قبل أن تصبح مطلقة ببلد يجرم المرأة المطلقة جعلت البخيل يعطيها طقم من الحلي التي كان يشتريها لها بأغلى الأثمان (بخيل لأنه كان يحب أن يظهر غنيا و كذلك زوجته و لكن لا يجعل لها الحرية بالتصرف بأي شيء و لم يفضل الإنفاق على الحاجات الأساسية بقدر التباهي و رسم صورة الغنى على حياته) و عند عودتها من المكان الذي استلزم لبسها للحلي يجري فحصا دقيق على ما تم لبسه و من ثم يعيده لخزنته الأمينة، كان بخيلا بكل شيء ماعدا الحلي! هذا ما أثار استغرابي و فيما بعد عندما كشفت شخصيته الحقيقية و فهمت!

ذهبت إلى منزل قريبتها التي تزينت لكي تزورها و من ثم إلى صائغ ولكن ليس للذهب بل للإكسسوارات و الحلي المزيفة. و صنع لها طقم طبق الأصل من الطقم الأساسي و عندما تذهب للزيارة تستبدل الأصل بالمزيف و تعود بالمزيف للبخيل و تكررت العملية حتى امتلأت خزنته بالنسخ المزيفة و احتفظت أختها بالأصل. قبل الانفصال و ترك الأولاد الخمسة لها لكي تربيهم شريطة أن لا تأخذ أي من الممتلكات التي وهبها لها أيام الزواج و من باب المبالغة يقال انه حتى رفض أن تأخذ ملابسها. طلق فرحا و مترقبا أن تعود بعد أن انهكتها قلة الحال و المال! و لكنها اشترت منزلا لها و لأبنائها، من ثم الخدم و السائق و .. الخ مما امتلاءه به حياة الخليجيين من ضروريات غير لازمه و لازمة. بعد أن تم تحويل المجوهرات إلى أموال و استقرارها و ضمانها لعدم قدرته على الاقتراب منها أخبرته بحيلتها الصغيرة، جن جنونه و حتى اليوم يحاول أن يصطاد بالمياه العكرة فتارة بوهب أبناءه و بناته اكثر مما تستطيع هي توفيره و تارة بان يحاول إغلاق كل محل تجاري أو عمل تحاول أن تنشئه. ولكنها بالنهاية كسبت منزلا و حياة و أبناء لم يتخلوا عنها و أصغرهم عمرا تبلغ الواحدة و الثلاثين و سيتم الاحتفال بزفافها خلال شهر.

لما سمعت هالقصة صج طرى على بالي المثل "مال البخيل ياكله العيار!"

Extremely long week !!

Its been so hard & long at work, I go to work then out for a course that is around .7km "a few minutes of walking" from the building that I work in then back to work again !! Yeah "no" time off not before the course NOR after it & ur asked to finish up ur work FAST attend the lectures FAST & get no credit for being a good employee :}. Its a two hours course (in Kuwait of course no time commitment! So for the 1st two days we had it for 2.5 hours! instead of 2) to learn how to use new programs (simple exe ones) that are installed in schools so we get prepared for the next step where we go to schools individually to help them there.

Kuwait university accepted me ! yaaay :D .. Although am waiting for a word from KNPC but a get out from my current work place is always welcome :D because am really MENTALLY tired over there, even if I stay in between jobs till I decide where to go I really don't mind it as long as I leave the ministry.

The lovely baby "Omar, my brothers new baby boy" is way cute I love him so much even after a hard long day seeing him whine around or cry for milk makes me so happy. May Allah bless him.

I sketched some long shirts to be tailored like 2 months ago !! This weekend am gona start on making them a reality.

I don't get it with me & shawls this winter! Suddenly am in love with them :}

Still in love with BBC food, that channel is AMAZING.

I love them !

Long Long Day

Long day today !

Had a lot of visitors coming over today, tomorrow will be longer I guess since we will have a big no BIG lunch. Its amazing how in gatherings people discuss the SHELL of the hot news around & tend to come up with the core of that piece of news :D

The weekend is here !!

yesterday & today were soooooo busy @ work & home as well, tomorrow morning we are expecting my ant (mother's sister) to come from Saudi it will be very nice am sure since I miss her so much :>

Monday morning I got a call from KU telling me I have an interview on tuesday, all in all I think it went pretty well :} except they didnt get my C.V from the HRD in Khaldeya so am going there again this sunday to give them my C.V. I know your gona say didn't she mention KNPC :D I did & am really hopping I can get there, but that didn't stop me from spreading my papers all around Kuwait you know as a precautionary thing JUST in CASE I don't get into the KNPC there is KU & there might be also a bank on the list STILL not sure.

At work there are some fights over me! LOL, yeah am having attention but not appreciation yet :) .. Some one is asking to get me transfered into her department while my senior manager is refusing, personally I don't care much this department or that one since all the work is the same! mainlly clerical & dead beauerocratic, typical ministry work basically so it wont make much of a differance :}

Oh one more thing ,, the sky today was AMAZING if you didn't look up to the sky & saw it then you missed a LOT

و اخيرا بعد ان تعدى عمره الأسبوع بيوم اصبح له اسم :} "عمر" هو اسم الملاك الجديد

حالة خمول غير عادية تنتابني! خمول فكري بالمرتبة الأولى .. اعتقد حان وقت التغيير و اتخاذ قرارات جذرية! لكن ليس قبل عطلتي التي تبلغ من العمر 5 ايام وزيادة :) اتمتع بالزيادة لاني اعيش بهذه البلد .. احب الكويت

اتصال حمل لي مقابلة بجامعة الكويت بكيفان بالتحديد .. فرصه وظيفيه جديده.. اعلق الكثير من الامال و الرغبات بالقطاع النفطي ولكن من سبيل عدم لوم الذات و بذل المستطاع للبحث عن مستقبل وظيفي افضل زينت كل مكان باوراقي لعل و عسى !

هوس جديد بقناة جديدة تزيد من معرفتي باحد هواياتي .. الطبخ

Remember it ?

Well I uploaded the pictures originally in 6/12/2004 !! To write a post about that kind of candy that was originally inspired by

عبد ربنا

who is also a fellow blogger + the King/Sultan of The 3oha Country, Who mentioned that kind of sweets in a previous post in my blog. Speaking of which where is he ?!

So he mentioned the thing that we used to do with the candy where we categorize them according to our own standards, here are mine :}

1- favorite color, RED I like red jello sweets :>



2- Shape, my favorite is this shape the snail shell like shape :}



3- THE WONT BE EATEN ONES! Green ones with the frog shape (or any other shape) are my less favorites which I intend to either trade them with other kids for red ones or just eat them first & leave the best for last :D



3- Here is a highlighted picture of my favorite waiting to be eaten by me arranged on top of tha back side of my sister's math book which I thought it had a cool cover :}

Baby Boy, Baby Boy, Baby Boy

All this time I was away we were busy with the new baby that my brother's wife gave birth to sunday 30/1/2005

As a gift I decided to wrap the baby chocolates & sweets to give to the visitors :} So I will be busy till the end of the weekend I guess & will take pictures, it might be long till I reply to the comments so bare with me people :D
