342 : الكويت اليوم

يفترض ان الصورة بتعبر عن موضوع الجمال بوسط الفوضى و التداخل ، لكن احداث اليوم في ندوة "الا الدستور" الثانية و التي اقيمت في منزل النائب جمعان الحربش في الصليبيخات الهبت كل مشاعري و احاسيسي ، فلا اجد بخيالي الكلمات التي تعبر عما بداخلي، لا من الموضوع المزمع كتابته ليرافق الصورة اعلاه ولا الاحداث التي تجري في الكويت

استطيع تلخيص ما افكر به ، في ان الشعب قبل الامس، اليوم و الليلة من خلال ما حصل ، واقع بين فرض الحكومة لسلطتها و النواب لسلطتهم ، افتقد وجود سياسي محنك ، و مللت كثرة الخبثاء ، افتقد من يجيد حسن الكلام و علم الحديث و الخطابة ، و امقت المفرقين للصفوف .. المرفوضات:

الاعتداء علي شخص اعزل - مدني او عسكري

استفزاز الناس بهدف او بدون هدف

القذف / السب / الشتم / البصق على اي كائن كان

التعسف باستخدام السلطة

منع و قمع الحريات

مخالفة القوانين و التوجيهات العامة

و الاهم ،، الكذب

مللت التمثيل و استغلال الشعب و اللعب به ،، فلا بريئ ولا مجرم امامي ،، فقط متخبطون و مخططون

341 : Hershey's

A bad baaaaad thing to keep around you! Had a bawl full of Hershy's and took it to the main living room :}

But their sugar free ones were nice!

340 : Nike + iPod

When I first got my Nike gym shoe a while ago, the worker in Go Sport told me about the sensor space under the shoe pad that links your workout with the iPod. After searching around I knew about how Nike & Apple teamed up to make this lovely tiny piece of technology that happened to work perfectly with my nano :>

I got it as a gift from a dear friend, however it seems that I must get the receiver to connect it with the iPod, and will review it fully when I do try it :] The idea of tracking my calories and workout time is exciting, yet I don't know why I think its too much technology around! So how does the connection work, and is it safe/healthy to be connected in this way? Guess it needs a search

My favorite possessions from my trip, a bamboo book marker & my first graphic novel :> it had to be V for Vendetta :D I couldn't resist :p

Social House - The Dubai Mall

Saw this restaurant as we were walking in The Dubai Mall, the name was appealing so we said lets take a look at the menu! What mostly caught our attention that its so diverse, Asian, European, North American, in other words international by what the word holds of meanings :>

So we decided to give it a go, the atmosphere is very nice and very different from other restaurants around

The slogan was a bit nice and somewhat funny :p

Wooden interior was amazing, loved those boxes with prints on them

This is a close up, loved the nostalgic graphics and the creative idea of staking boxes on the side :}

Our first course was the "Dragon Roll" which was a winner, I wasn't so fond of the sardine but it added a nice flavor

Then the DELICIOUS Mozzarella en caroza came, which is fried mozzarella  covered with bread and a delicious chunky tomato sauce to accompany it. An amazing representation of mozzarella away from the usual breaded sticks or chunks, was light although I was fearing the frilled issue, but it wasnt fatty at all

Then my sister's main course arrived, she took the Mediterranean marinated Angus rib eye, PERFECT medium well, pink & tender inside, mash side was creamy & salty exactly how it should be :) and a simple rocca and balsamic salad was on the side, nice compliment for the dish

I took the "Entercote al gorgonzola" which is a rib eye steak pan fried with gorgonzola cheese sauce, I am not a potato person but these above were perfectly tender with a hint of the frying with meat taste, perfectly done and was very delicious :}

The whole atmosphere, music, workers was calming, the only thing stopped us from merging into it is the really crowded entrance near by! Yet we decided to enjoy a cup of tea before we left

And this is the check, only 316 Derhams!  which is like 20 something KD, VERY resonable, value of money was excellent

Annnnd their website, telephone and else shown above. Now the shocking piece of information is that the restaurant is originally INDONESIAN :} well done! Great food, lovely atmosphere, very enjoyable, highly recommended when ever you drop by Dubai Mall

337 : Butterflies - Fashion Avenue The Dubai Mall

I simply LOVE tangled paper stuff! I fell in love with this decorative idea "sorta Orgami'ish" from Japan, and ever since paper art fascinates me. As I was walking from Kinokuniya I spotted this by one of the windows and I immediately held my breath and smiled :D

As I went out from Kinkuniya heading to fashion avenues I saw those lovely butterflies dangling from above! Breathtaking view :]

Although am not fond of Butterflies as insects but seeing them in real or paper brings a joy, the way they flutter is so elegant and slick :} This simple decoration brought a huge smile on my face and made the shopping and coffee drinking a real joy in that area.

Exhibition - Mystery of the Orient

Iris Group with the participation of Dar Al Funoon will hold the "Mystery of the Orient" exhibition, a collective exhibition of Thai and Burmese Art. The exhibition starts on Saturday December 4 at 7pm in 360 MALL Exhibition Hall

336 : UAE national day

The 2nd of December is the National Day of the United Arab Emirates, I spotted this lovely picture of girls dancing :] It brings a smile to see kids do simple things

335 : Meet محمد قيصر علي

So the best option was to take a car from the hotel to take me from Abu Dhabi to Dubai, and meet in the picture above, Mohammed Qaysar Ali. Who was extremely nice and friendly, HOWEVER when the trip started I noticed a little few things about is driving:

A- Slowing down is not defined in his dictionary! Instead he uses the safe lane :} then decides to slow down & back to the normal left lane.

B- The pavement does not exist when he wants to get to a place, regardless of the fine car he is driving! Audi you really made a good car that handles a lot!

C- Apparently, he has a problem with the brakes, no logic in using them whatsoever all of a sudden it goes in a wavy pattern, although he knows there is traffic in front of him, but for somehow made me feel like he's slowing down the pace of a living creature not a car.

D- He was amazingly polite & even got me a bottle of water when he went to fill the car with gas :>

This trip has been a different ball game for me, and a lot of positive things are coming out of it.

الليلة مع "طلقة في صدر الشمال" للدكتور و ليد الرجيب

بداية معرفتي بكتاباته كانت من خلال رواية موستيك، و بعدها اليوم التالي لأمس، حبيتهم و حبيت اسلوب الكاتب اللي يرمي لاكثر من بعد في القصة. له اهداف اجتماعية، انسانية و ثقافية بكل القصتين السابق ذكرهم، و هذا اهو الشي اللي شدني لكتاباته. طلقة في صدر الشمال كتاب قديم له و اليوم بيكون على الاجندة بعد الكتاب اللي ان شاء الله بخلصه

Melenzane

I'm supposed to write about my experience at Melenzane, an Italian all-Kuwait restaurant and how nice the owners are, but since am out of town with very little pictures to talk about my first experience that deserves a whole post :> I decided to at least link the post P0ach has published regarding!!!!!!!!!!

333 : Abu Dhabi

I loved this bridge with wave-like sides!

I like Abu Dhabi so far, more quiet than Dubai and I saw more locals :D I'm more of a town girl, the only city skipped this exception was Las Vegas, and now Abu Dhabi, sure I didn't nor will get time to see touristic attractions & the art scene here! YET I liked it, something very comfy about this Emirate. The greenery spread all over has a lot of effect on me really makes me happy :]

331 : Sale balloon

ونستني تفاخية معرض اليوسفي اللي يطل على الغزالي اليوم و انا بوسط معمعة التنسيق و ترتيب المهام

من فترة طويلة ما مريت بيوم ماراثوني نفس اليوم، و الشي الغريب اني على كثر ما اتعب بهالنوع من الايام الا اني اوله عليهم! و احب اللي انا قاعده اسوية. الغريب اكثر بالموضوع اني بعز اللوية تحوشني لحضات افكر فيها بكل شي بحياتي و اعيد تقييم الامور اللي امر فيها

330 : Fly

Picture above from the "Cirque du Soleil and Moscow Circus" show in Kuwait. For a moment there, he flew :} with ropes for sure, for security, but he felt how is it to be above, raising the bar high to what others might fel normally on earth. Yet in the end he got back to the ground :] after putting up a great act juggling in the air. I had fun in the parts I attended, unfortunatly had to leave early.

Note in time: Go up, enjoy the feeling, but stay aware that you do need to go back down on earth :p

329 : 3 Items only!

Usually when preparing a "to get" list for a trip, I end up with 10-15 items, for this one I dont have a lot to get :D I'm kinda happy with it, this means I'll have more "me time" :>

328 : Beetroot

I love beetroot and thought this dish from Maki was good, turned out to be oily! There was olive oil drizzled on it and the beetroot was over fried! Didn't taste good at all ://
