304 : October 2010's last sunset

In two months this 2010 will end ...

Took this snap today @ 4.54pm ,, I can't stop staring at the sky this time of the year, for a few weeks now, its so charming! Every one reading this :) PLEASE take a pause in the morning and at dusk, look up at the sky and smile :]

303 : زلغ

الاسبوع اللي طاف استوعب ان سيارتي مزلوغة من ورا، و حيل تضايقت، لان اللي زالغها و ماشي ما كلف خاطره حتى يحط اعتذار! الزلغ بسيط بس الذوق مو بسيط على اللي حك سيارتي الظاهر ،، كان شي صعب عليه يكون/تكون سنع و يتعذر باقل تقدير

302 : Eat fresh

For many reasons Subway is the most convenient place to have lunch from, so in my diet that I will try to stick to *as much as possible* Subway will be my bread/meat/cheese main source :> breakfast light bran flakes with milk, coffee & tea are a must especially during the day at work time, however I prepared several tea types to try to lower the caffeine intake, as for dinner it will be light :} fruits/veggies .. I haven't decided on snacks yet but I tried this routine before I was fine without a snack, yet at times in certain days where the work load is heavy & I go through a rough day I tend to have a snack, given that it wont be more than 100-150 callories.

Now the exact calorie count is not my issue but I bare in mind that I can lose weight with a 1500 calorie diet, due tot he fact that I do go to the gym daily, so I can afford a little more :p HOWEVER I do want to get this done with, I have been spoiling my self a loooooot, need to work on  a proper plan to lose, then maintaining shouldn't be so hard.

301 : Location

Spotted Giant across the street from Schlotzsky's in Salmiyah, and immediately thought that they finally picked a good spot! Salmiya USED to be a very busy area almost all weekdays now with the Avenues in Alrai area & 360mall in South Surra area, the load is really LESS on Salmiyah. Add to that, the area is a HUGE attraction to all nationalities Kuwaitis or non-Kuwaitis, and a lot of expats also live near by in the buildings around its area, so its a really smart choice this time, since those consumers in particular would appreciate the merchandises in it more, due to the high population in that area also the fact that Kuwaiti are more used to Co-ops that also has the plus of being in almost every area and block :p speaking of which, this Giant branch is less than 1KM away from Salmiyah co-op

300 : Princess Leia

Congratulations all Kuwaiti brides, Princess Leia's hair is hip, LOL!

299 : Crack

This tiny Arabic coffee cup cracked the moment hot coffee was poured in it, just like us, if we were ever under hard circumstances & weren't in the competent level to handle it!

Today a dear tweeter "Hameedosh" asked a question about if you had one memory to erase what would it be? At first I had one, a very old one that till date when ever I recall I have a bad feeling in my gut! However, that particular situation, hmm AWKWARD humiliating situation really did teach me a lot, and as an outcome the MOST intimidating woman I ever knew respects me, the outcome did not come directly, its what that situation had done to me, and what it made me become, afterward. I discovered that I would not want to erase anything, even the bad memories, simply because they formed me, who I am today, and I like me, although am full of defects & made A LOT of HUGE mistakes and at times wish that time would just go back a little. Yet, I am in peace with who I am today :] I want a better me, but not a different me.

بنفس الفكرة مريت اليوم بالدوام على موضوع، و بوسط الملف اشوف تواقيع و اسامي ناس كانوا في مناصب مختلفة في مكان عملي، و طرى ببالي اهمية هالتواقيع و الاسماء في ذاك الوقت، و ببدائلهم الحين

297 : Mirror

Saw this mirror in Pottery Barn today, never was fond of mirrors but this one caught my attention! I didn't see the price tag but I think it might be a little over the top, Pottery Barn isnt exactly IKEA "price wise" but you can find good bargins if you search :p Might go back to it later and check it out more seriously, but it is a lovely big one.

Going to move into a new room soon & will have to decorate & do all the works for it, I was leaning towards contemporary simple, a lot of white/gray and a flashy color to break it. BUT now a little vintage wooden effect wont hurt :> need to work on that a little more. I love furniture shopping & decorating, so I'm hoping to have a lot of fun with my new room :D

296 : B&BW in Q8

B&BW will be oppening soon in Kuwait & Dubai. I love their products, what I really like about them is their lines, they have a HUGE variety of lines ranging from fruits, flowers to honey!

And another tiring day that is making me really sleepy. I want to write real posts, I want my "From here & there posts" .. Must make time

و لاني اكتب هالتدوينة و انا نص نايمه فا بحط مقتطفات

وجود قارئ نهم و مثقف يجعل التنقل بين المكتبات ممتعاً

294 : تقلب راسك ولا بتقلب الشاشة؟

سؤال بسيط ،، علشان تشوف الصورة بشكل واضح بتقلب الشاشة ولا بتقلب راسك؟

لكن لمعرفة تفاصيل دقيقة بها ،، نحتاج لتمعن و تفحص و ربما قد نحتاج لنكون في الصورة بحد ذاتها لنفهمها، فبقصد او غير قصد قد نسئ الفهم او النظر لها! فنعتقد بوجود ما ليس له وجود أو نخطئ بإسم احد المباني / المعالم المجودة بها. كالبشر :) فمثل "اللي ما يعرفك ما يثمنك" من اروع الامثال الكويتية التي اتمسك بها، و اتعذر للناس بها في حال اسأت فهمهم و استميح لهم العذر عند نفسي ان اساءوا فهمي او معاملتي ، فلا يفترض ان يعرفني شخص بهذه الدنيا بمقدار معرفتي بنفسي :> فالكل طالب ،، العبرة بمن يعلم و يتجاهل المعلومة عن قصد او يعلم و يرفض تعلم الحدود التي تم توضيحها

I love Tetris this game never fades away from my arcade history. Tetris friends is probably THE BEST online tetris website. Took the shot above from it while playing, whats cool about this iste is that you can play as a visitor, you can register, in both cases you play with other people online or alone! a good variety of games are offered in it & the best new feature is that you can play with friends!

I here confess that am a Tetris addict :p

292 : Day off

Planning for a day off, in the middle of the fuss at work I do need sometime off, I know a day doesn't count :p but am fine with it for the time being, my big time off is just not yet... Hope the plan goes well & I shall have some "me" time ...

291 : Moon River

We might not have a River in Kuwait, but we have the Moon :p

Moon River for Frank Sinatra , its my second favorite song by him, after Come Fly With Me. Moon River has a special link to Breakfast at Tiffany's, *this is where I first heard moon river! by Audri* I simply love Audrey Hepburn's style in that movie, and she is probably the ONLY skinny woman I like!

In the movie, her class, in actions and costumes is amazing & feminine. When ever I see her I recall the lovely nanonano.

Back to Moon River, this song in particular can switch my mood from ANY direction to CALM, the moment I hear it starting, I Chill .... Smile .... Enjoy it


A side note: Gym is back into my schedule. I hear a lot complain about routine BUT at times having a repeated schedule to fit all your things / activities, can make them easy, especially that we do have 24hrs per day, 8-sleep & 8-work! So in order to fit sports, weight loss & family, friends, my schedule should be very organized. I plan to finish by December... Inshallah :} ,, this should have been a post material not a note :p

Window display of VeroModa in Avenues. I liked the creativity, finally some action into our windows, male manikins in big toy boxes, more like ken & barbie boxes but real life sized ones.

I got a 365 "Keep calm and carry on" notes for 2011, as a gift from the lovely Ahamshay, an advance chill & be optimistic boost to face 2011. I feel that next year will hold a lot for me :}

Planning to stop procrastination :/ been abusing my books with that bad bad act! SO what I decided to do is to write a review about each book when am done, in a trial to keep my self committed :}

Although I have A LOT of books pending, yet I still enjoy buying books and look forward to go to the book fair. For the rest of 2010, will be a more active reader inshallah :>

احلي شي احبه ان في كل يوم شي غير، و الايام المفضلة عندي اللي يكون فيها شعر او حكم او معلومة نادرة! بالذات المعلومات التاريخية عن الكويت

الصورة اليوم حطيتها في تويتر بس اثر في نفسي المكتوب لدرجة اني قررت اخليها صورة اليوم، لاني و بالصدفة امس احتكيت بموضوع "الهموم" و الحكم اعلاه اشوف انها تنطبق على كافة الاشياء اللي ممكن انها اتسود القلب او النفس ،، مثل الهم، الحقد ،، الخ

محد خالي من الهموم و ساعات تدخل حياتك لو كنت اسعد الناس، الشطارة بالتعامل مع هالهم. العقل جزء مخيف من الانسان، و اعتقد ان الكثيرين يقللون من سلطتة على تصرفاتهم و فكرهم بانهم يقولون : بخاطري - اشتهيه - بغيت، متناسين الفرق بين الحاجة و الرغبة! الحد الادنى لضمان الحياة هو الحاجة لشيئ ما لتستمر الحياة اما الرغبة فهي شغف النفس للشيئ الذي قد لا يحتاجه الانسان
