My day so far

Today ...

1- What I hoped for didn't happen :} not sad but a bit disappointed, never the less :D tomorrow is a new day with a bright new sun shine!

2- At the beauty saloon today I saw little kids being over hairdressed. Over make'd up! & over dressed. I thought maybe its a weeding? It appeared to be a party :} still I hated the fact that the kids innocence was violated by the grown ups way of making them selves look pretty! (although I doubt it). I even think that a lipstick/blush/eyeshadow is UGLY on kids! kids in general am not talking about ads .. To add more spices to the story! The party is for one of the girls :} so I smiled & thought "ooooH how cute! A young girl wanting to look like old girls ;p" .. It turned out to be a party for her wearing a "7ijab" & she is 7 years old???????????

Am not in the mood to open up a big discussion about "sunna" & "she3a" simply because this is a free space to chill! .. Still I don't get it! Why should it just BE!!!! Why at age 7??? Why not like what's in the holly Qura'an? WHY since we are in Kuwait! Should she be forced while legally she has the right to choose? .. It just didn't make sense to me. That made me sad!

3- Long day ahead its already after 7! Better go :} ,, have a good evening all

Hey... i know how u feel, I'm shee3iya, i'm proud of who i am, but i know how u feel cuz thats what i feel, i just wore my hijab 2 yrs back, cuz everybody (the old women) in the family started 2 tell me that its time & i was the only one not wearing it..& they were telling me that men nowadays want a mohajiba girl..(YEAH RIGHT!) not all of them....i know i wore it cuz they've been nagging me 4 ages, but im not that "AH!" about it.
BTW my family r not religious, the women in our family always like 2 dress up & put make up, its just that we were raised like that...to wear the hijab, & mine is not perfect, my dad's eldest aunt always nags me 2 put it on properly...& cuz i was in the states with my family (dad, mom & bros) we're the "cool" ones in the family & always talk english together...thats why i refused 2 wear it at a young age.
U know what..? i had this subject on my mind 2day & was thinkin of posting it soon...& other related subjects...take care...

I really hate it when I see really young girls covered in that age ..:/

That's really unfair .. They just don't know what is it .. All they know is that they have to put a piecce of cloth on thier heads ..

That's why we have this huge number of met7ajbat who look like clowns with their colthes and make up .. Most of them were obliged 2 wear it since they were kids .

Isn't the 7jab obliged as soon as you hit puberty? I also heard somewhere that women no longer need to wear it when they reach menopause. *shrug*

Hi dear :} am glad you took the time to comment here its a pleasure. About what you said it held almost ALL of the feelings I felt for those girls & its not only about she3a some sunna also do it but at age 7 its a she3a thing, the core of this is not to discuss whos right & whos wrong sunna or she3a I respect them both & most of my dearest friends are she3a either 3yam or 7saweya & all my life I lived among them as Kuwaitis not as any thing else :> & we all respect each other no matter what & how the way we may differ. I dont wish to discuss the details of the two mathaheb because its a deeeeep discussion that I dont wish to even think of :) am not up to it!

Still I had to express my un happyness twards this, am sorry for every girl that has to go throught this.

Again this is the problem its becomming a THING to wear not a believe to follow hence not a lot will keep it in the way its supposed to ,, hence حجاب بو ريش & a lot of thing we see on a dailly basis!

All in all met7ajba or not you can live your life :) & be something you like to be

Again i thank you for your valuwable feedback :} have a ncie day dear

Brok

Me too it makes me sad, & in a way makes what SOME met7jbat do a bit explainable!

some she3a believe that at age 7 a girl is obliged to wear 7ijab. As for the women leaving hijab is false :) its a thing she should stick to when she wears.. or simply dont wear it :} this is speaking from a Kuwaiti point of view not a religious one (about not wearing it period)

This is where you become distinct, where you rise above every thing & be something :}. Somethings in life are just "be!" or "done!" at that stage life should not end :) good fro you girl

MsBakerQ8

you got it exactly! other than the 1st point u mentioned there are some young girls who LIKE to look old? I truelly question that, LEISH? & whats even more questionable why Da'Hell their parents ey6aw3onhum? ,, I get so sad & angry to see little girls kill their childhood with the parents blessing!
