Happy New Year

Happy new year every one I wish you all the best, & hope this year 2005 would be filled with good news & events to me & every one reading thins :}.

Am supposed to do this blog of the year thing but I felt I shouldn't, since the whole post is young :} & there might be more enhancement to the way of choosing which is the best among the reviews each month then year.. But there will be the best of post, not tonight as every one thinks :) but tomorrow in since I believe that we are not in 2005 until 1/1/2005 midnight time :D then the new year has actually begun.

Sleepy me

I came from work around 2:30 pm, had lunch then slept @ 4 pm till 6:30 pm & maybe @ 8 pm I will go back to sleep I still need to sleep more :(. Although am trying to wake up & finish up some work here on the net (comments & ideas to post) but I can't get my self to it I truly miss sleeping & resting. Good Night .. Will post in the morning hoping that I would have slept enough.

I declare today Monday is the sleep day here in Q80-Chill Girl's land, I am extremely exhausted with work so today I will sleep early.

The most interesting thing today is some how I remembered the school life (since my work place is very close to UK- the shweikh campus) & how I didn't do a lot of things I wanted to, like writing in the University paper or join the Art group there, I really feel that I didn't do much in college I was pretty quiet except for the last year then I had some action.

I also noticed today on the way to work this morning that there are less cars in the streets @!@ or am I imagining?! Or maybe all those people who used to stuff the streets on the way to work are taking vacations!

I fell in love with this picture the moment I saw it, its truly amazing :} the decorations are soooooooo like my taste since I do like the shades of brown to copper, gives me a warm feeling of course with glitter added to the combination I would end up with the shades of the most colors I have around (clothes/makeup) note: glitter with make up not with clothes :}

I hope tomorrow I can write a more meaningful post :} am tired folks so bare with my blah blah blah's (when ever I say this word "Blah" I can't help remembering this teacher's way of saying it with a french accent, he was a great teacher, pitty I only had one course with him).

Thoughts

* I never meant to hurt her feelings but I didn't know that she was there, then again if I express my true feelings towards what happened differently in front of her I would be a hypocrite!. Although I felt guilty for hurting her (un-deliberately) but I after that though of it as a good vent.

* If I were to choose between being a hypocrite or telling the truth (that will hurt others) I will go for being honest.

* I nor any person alive can make all people happy, there must be some persons that you by mistake or with all your will, made them hate you for something you did or the person you are.

* Some times you never realize what you are missing until you see others smile for having that thing you miss.

* In my trial to improve my English & write in it as a practice I found out that I miss Arabic, although its the language all over me @ work & home!

Of course my day didn't end with that @@, had a busy full schedule in the afternoon till early night time.. Now its time to relax & get ready for a big day tomorrow where I would be spending most of my time on the PC to work...

*Will take advantage of my day off from work which is tomorrow, to apply to more places, Wish me luck!

*I need to vent, that woman with me in the work team is really getting on my nerves with her stupid YET hard to believe that they are un-deliberate mistakes.. The same woman that disagreed "coz am the so called NEW girl, inexperienced one too" to let me do the work by the new way proposed & kept going on & on that this is a silly way to work in.

*After she gave me unchecked work + incomplete tables,, that resulted in edits that if done will consume time more than establishing a whole new file (only 4 edits took me 3 days at the average of 6 hours on the PC non-stop!) and it contains "as I found out while checking the file before signing it in" more than 10 mistakes & horrible ones I must say, a KG student wouldn't commit them let aside an "EXPERIENCED" employee.

*No hard feelings towards experience its the arrogance & the un-acceptance for new ideas that bothered me, not only they didn't accept it they FOUGHT to not let me implement it, but they didn't know am not an easy girl :}.

* After a lot of thinking I decided to do the whole (approx. 40 MB Excel) file again (containing more than 7500 tables, original are around 88 the rest are dragged from the original ones but need to add formulas for calculating the totals for 7 tables in each sheet & that's in 10 sheets out of 11 since the last sheet is designed to check the accuracy of the entered data) , this time with my own hands & no interference by her..

* Will Sign in both files (original one half corrupted by her, and the new one completely by me) & will see who is more experienced now! And to teach them a lesson before they brag on how much experience they have & I lack to CHECK on their work before signing it in, which is the ABC of being in work.. But hey this is government work who needs to check?! If they are sure they will get the same paid check as the ones who really WORK, hmm maybe a little bit more with experience & more relations at work they can get more.

Work .. Again!!

Busy @ work ,, tired mentally/physically since I give it too much in the time that most people around me don't give a damn... more details tomorrow, hopfully I will be more relaxed & in a better mood :}

Bytes is the blog :} you can see the amazing girls life ,, & I said amazing because her work with graphics & photoshop also photography are things that really made me keep on visiting the site for several days to just read & see EVERY thing in it ,, STILL I didn't finish it :} its a very big site since it started in 2000 as she states here (18.12.2004 post) the changes that this site & her went through across the time of four years.

If you are interested about the person behind this gigantic site then try to seek for the TRUTH right from her hands :}.. Art & gfx is an other section in this rich in content site, it contains 3 sections:

• Sketches
• Computer Art

Now I wont spoil the fun on you guys :} & tell you about what will you find in each section stated above from the Art & gfx page; I will leave that to your curiosity,, the thing that I would like to note here is the VERY impressive way the pictures taken of her work are displayed,, in the Art & gfx page you when even you click a section like Fine art for instance! You will see a page all in black & with touches of PINK (her passion) in the middle are dancing pink squares :} click on one of them & a JavaScript window appears with the enni weeni tiny dancing thumbnail.

Moving down with the links that are on the left in the Bytes page there is the Projects section that I must say was very creative & allows personal interests to be mixed with the persons that we truly are not the identities we carry in this life! This is a very crucial issue to me since am interested in persons as people not as who they are in real life which highlights the privacy issue that banoota keeps well as I hope to do so as well as she did. One thing more before I leave the projects page .. PSS would have LOVED this page :}.

Goodies is not found unfortunately :( ,, but the item right under it "PHOTOES" has a big chunk of interest of banoota, she has a flickr account browse it, its fun there :} oO I know nibaq would like this one ;p.

Yoshika & the e-mail

I missed posting, life has been crazy & still a lot to do in a few hours till late night, am so busy. This morning when I checked my e-mail other than two replies to some posts I found an e-mail with the sender named YOSHIKA @@ YES its her :D the artist I wrote this post about! Can you believe it :D. I was so happy & flattered to know she liked the post about her, here I quote ladies & gentle men the following from the e-mail I received from her :

"It always amazes me when someone sees my art and exactly feel what I want to express"


It felt very nice to know that I felt & knew what the artist intended to say with her art, since its a proof to the artist is that her work got into the hearts of people the right way. Now you all like me are wondering how did she know about it since till now I didn't e-mail her because of the lack of time I had on the internet lately!! Its the magic of search engines :D she found my blog as she said:

"I happened to search my name on the internet today and found your posting page"

So that made my day :D, am happy she knew about it, since she is a great artist & deserves the appreciation she can get.. Last but not least again I thank Sky Walker :) not only you let me think of this whole artist review thing seriously, but the 1st artists I wrote about happens to know about it when I TOTALLY didn't expect it :D. I never played it but saved half of the cute-lly drawed characters (its a 3.4 MB .zip file) along with cute sound files that can be used to change the alarm/notification sounds in programs like MSN Messenger.

Sky walker Vs. Yoshika

Painting has always been interesting for me, also I have been intending to feature an artist that I liked his/her work to talk about the art & that person's biography. Unfortunately that thought left me & I didn’t give it its freedom until Sky Walker commented on my previous post
& asked about the profile picture, that instantly clicked @@,, I wanted to search more about the artist I knew she was Japanese & that’s it saved the picture then added it to my "look up for" list on the bookmarks. So thanks to sky walker I got to:

1-Remember an old posting idea that I totally forgot about, hence I will stop whining about what I will post about :D.
2-Letting me look up for an artist I forgot about for a LONG while with all the crowded stuff around me.

A very optimistic person as I felt that too from her work, the use of bright colors is a big factor I think it is the reason of the beauty I see in her work.

Work !!

New stuff happening:

• More reliability on me, more responsibilities, more work = me happy
• The new manager is kicking things up :} I love her.
• The worst thing about working with women, is that they are women :} with all do respect to all women & me 1st.
• New girl still gets on my nerves, especially that she ALWAYS knows every thing & what's right is definitely what she said, even with your name! She can have an opinion & thinks before you even open your mouth she is right about it.
• Got into a silly discussion + argument with one old woman at work, conclusion: since we are new (who proposed the new line for work) then we have to listen to the old people even if they make things harder!
• Will be assigned to a new line of work that includes going to schools to supervise & teach them how to use the new Oracle data base system installed. Meaning I will work at schools @@ it will be hard especially some of the workers there don't know what is windows, let aside Oracle.
• STILL bureaucracy rules, hence I don't find my self still, but have to admit its becoming better & better.
• However, STILL I will hope for a better other work place, but currently I will work hard & have fun while doing it because every tiny bit of work is an added plus to my experience in life.

I DO NOT LIKE her :} but this song is ,,, hmmm roughly ok so its a 4.5/10 .. although the rate is bad but I do here it sometimes!!

3-Outkast: Hey Ya
I love this song :D so fun especially when : shake it shake it shake it ,, shake it like a Polaroid picture... Oddly when I hear the Polaroid part I remember nibaq @@.. Because of this post he wrote ages ago I cant find it sorry :} but he says that he is taking some Polaroid pictures,, nice song 8/10

Fever

I think I have a fever, & no its not because of the diet coz I simply didn't start it yet am just eating less & walking, the regular 3 meals but less. I guess its the weather change I know someone will kill me for that statement :}.

A few notes!

• Today is day 1 in my diet.
• Will not rush into a strict diet YET, I will let my body & mind accept less food in the next two weeks.
• Will add an hour to walk daily.
• Jogging will start gradually as the distance I will walk/jog every day will increase.
• The weather these days tempted me to walk out side, then when it gets hot or more crowded where am walking in I will go indoors.
• The health club is after that, since currently the aim is to get the blood circulating, lose weight more than tone & shape the body.
• Tomorrow will be the first day to go walking.

Poor Men

Today I have been out most of the day .. Shopped in the morning & had lunch out, right when I came back home mother had some urgent business & needed me to take her out, so am out AGAIN @@. The part where the men seemed to be poor & I felt for them is when I dropped mother at a shop she needed "the urgent stuff from 3la golat'ha" & since it was a busy area there was no close by parking so I told her I will wait for her in the car, stopped by the Yellow+Black pavement for an HOUR :} where the police man which was very nice for not giving me a ticket just spoke to me asked me to move the car for 4 times "this is when he is nice again for not giving me a ticket since I came back over & over" & each time I move but get back to a spot either before or after my previous one ( I had to be in the same area). Mother called me saying why don't you come down since it will take long, I refused & prefered to talk to D'n'G...

• Spoke to D
• changed the parking 4 times
• mobile bat. died on me
• ate some chewy candy

STILL mother didnt finish her QUICK, URGENT business @@

So at that moument I thought of men who nag about taking us women shopping, I DON'T BLAME THEM :}, unless the person enjoys going shopping with a women in the same time then it can be KILLING to them.

Is your volume odd? Or even?

Today after work when am driving home I noticed an odd thing in me,, ironically this "odd" thing has to do with "even" numbers!!

Since I was a child I liked even numbers & my favorite is "2", the reason for that is I used to imagine numbers as dots in space so I can add & subtract them, in that space the dots had to be organized since I like that alot & makes it easy to calculate, the even numbers were pretty nice because each dot has its companion & well organized in two lines.
. .
. .
This is the 4 :} in my mental space!

Mean while odd numbers had to have "one dot" alone! I used to feel that this "one dot" as untied, also felt sorry for the poor lonely dot! Because its all alone.

See there is a lonely dot in 3!! As it is with all odd numbers.

So that logic is what I think made the passion for the even numbers grow in me, but wait :} the post isn’t about that only; I mean if I like even numbers then what is the odd thing I noticed while driving? @@ . The odd thing is that I was hearing a song I like & turned up the volume without looking at which number the volume was at but I raised it till it sounded good then "the thing I noticed that I always DO" I looked & saw the volume at



So I turned it higher by 1 so it gets to 20,,, that moment I realized that I NEVER let the volume level go to an odd number! I have to make it an even number, lower the volume or make it higher I always want it to be an even number.

P.S: the screen is dirty due to the wonderful weather we had at noon!

A book is always there & boy he did make me want this book sooo much, but still I didn't get it as I planned to pay some book stores a visit but this weekend but couldn't,, maybe & hopfully I will find the book in stores here if not then Amazon it is "as the blog owner advised" ,, look through the archives you will see that reading is one of this blogger's interests

Quotes & videos are the most interesting part I think, because of the wide variety they come in. In this blog "Desperately Wandering" a combination of visual & readable entertainment, that doesn't deny that there are wise pauses "if I may say" in this life.

Radio Kuwait 103.7 FM is there @@ can u believe this guy, Mashallah his blog is sooo much fun to me :} there is a lot to check out, read, see (democratic guy he even lets you send a request ;p) & even hear!

Misguided

Sunday @ work

Today they finally gave us some work :D I was so thrilled & happy that I made two Excel documents (one with 10 sheets the other with only 2,, but they had illustrative tables not full with data) & a PPT presentation in 45 minutes ( i know @@ that is not fast but hey! i havent been working for a LONG while now) to illustrate two ways of doing the assigned work , so I made an example & explained both methods inorder to make out point clear to the new manager which was surprised that I made a slide show & illustrated every thing we wanted right after the meeting & she wants me to work the way that me & my colleagues decided its the best & explain it to the manager when she gets back from her 3 days off (to attend a funeral may their lost one RIP) & I already have a lot of ideas to include to the lets say "improvised" presentation. What am happy about more than being assigned to wrork is finally having a chance with that new manager which likes new blood in the place "not in an aggressive way I meant new souls hmm that can lead to the same aggressive hint , that is if u have an aggressive mind" ANY how I hope this works out. Although that doesn't mean that I will stop applying to other places :} I don't see my self in my work YET.

I loved the cold weather in the morning :} it was 15 deg. cel. In the car when I got into it I really smiled from the heart when I looked up to the sky & saw it, it was so amazing & beautiful, the most thing I love about the cold weather is when u get a red nose also when u talk & u get some white smoke like breath out of ur mouth :D I still do that for fun when it gets cold here.

The rain yesterday was very nice & shy abit :} but I managed to stand under it although I was DEAD tired when I got home after a long day & less than 2 hours of sleep. So yesterday I slept like a baby at hmm around 11, which is again because of the fact that I wanted to sleep at 9 but that brain of mine couldn't stop thinking @@.

SleepLESS @@

I woke up Friday at 1 pm, had an ok day... But I can't sleep!! Its 4 am & I have to wake up for work at 6 am! So I can be there before 7:30 am. Also tomorrow after work around 5 pm I am meeting an Indian friend who wants to show me some Indian clothes that she wants to sell & needs my help with it, am not sure yet but I think father is coming along since I don't know where their house is I never went there they usually visit, they are originally friends of dad in a business, if not then am alone there.

I guess I liked the week long vacation so much that I can't accept that tomorrow am going back to work especially that I hate my work because I basically don't work :D add to that that my friend just sms'ed me to ask me to take a medical paper for her because she has a flu along with her 1.5 yr old son I hope they both get well soon. After I replied her she got a little worried that I wont make it to work tomorrow :p since I am a sleep-o-holic.

Saw "spirited away" nice animated movie, I like what I saw of it (missed the 1st 45 minutes) ! Hoping to see the whole thing if they have it on later. I loved how cute the characters are also in the same time the animators created scary monsters & as usual in an anime the blood is realistic & a lot. How brave that little child is :} because sometimes you fear something but you know no one will do it but you, so you do it just throw all your fears behind you & after you finish you can ache & scream as much as you want :} a lot of you(s) haa.

I think am gona try to rest before I take my shower & go to work.. Hope you all have a nice day :}.. & people please ,,

about the ORISINAL I would like to review a few nice things with u guys ..

It has cool simple flash games that depend on the mouse mainly :} & the characters are so amazingly cute :D I love them, I think the artist did a great work with them. How ever down in the page along with the miscellaneous you will find ALOT of interesting things I will only talk about 2 of them the rest is for you to find out more about them:

• TRAILER where it shows u some of the games done by this amazing artist.
• FLOWERS, just listen to the peacefully music in the background & view some samples & u will get what I mean by amazing artist, also here I thank the person who let me be in the flowers mood again :}. Go there & send a flower to any one u like it will hopefully draw a smile.

• although I hated driving in the last few days of Ramadan, with the nice weather we have now am tempted to go out DAILY.

• Some times right out of no where, a new person that you thought was ordinary turns into a turning point in ur life.

• By the end of next week am starting a diet & going to a health club, I know am the way I am now because of a bad habit I have: taking it out on food!. For the sake of my health & wanting to look good :} I wont any more.

Dharma & Greg is my fav. comedy show I love how spontanious Dharma is & how weird is her name :} oO how cute Greg is, I love how she takes him out of his shell & just be simple, not to mention how hillarious is their fammilies & how such a marriage can join hippies with rich classy people. Saw a pretty nice eppisode today :D.

Now its 6 am, cousens called they r going out @@ so am joining them & taking the lazy-ness of my system :}.

Monday, 3rd day of EID

Except for the 1st day the rest was quiet in this year's Eid. Today we are going out, although I HATE to go to public places in the eid but I have to!. Movies with the family will be very fun since its a really big group :} & its an animated movie we are going to see "Shark tale" unfortunately am the one who will get the tickets. Then in the early evening time I will see my friend, we hope this meeting can happen because the last 3 appointments we made somehow were ruined, u know each time something happens @@. It will be a long day I guess but hopefully fun, coz its been long since I went out to have fun. Have a nice day every one, don't waste it at home the weather is amazing at least go sit outside ur house ;p or go visit a relative that is 5 minutes away taking 2 hours on the way :p.

One more happy thing. This Eid brought very nice news with it, my cousin who is married for over 8 years just got pregnant, am glad for her & her husband that they finally will have what they were longing to have for a long time. Allah ywafjhm am so happy for them.

This week was the longest in Ramadan for me, although I finished all of my shopping duties a week ago hoping that I wouldn't shop in the last week of Ramadan because its crazy out there, BUT mother & sisters didn't & since am the available driver @@ you guessed it :} I come from work rest a little, have "futoor" then go out around 7:30 pm & get back not before 10 pm totally exhausted & since am the kind that if I don't sleep when I feel like sleeping (around 10 pm) I stay up for a few more hours till I can fall asleep again!. So this week usually I sleep around 1-3am get up at 7 am & get to work before 9 am with a desperate need for coffee but its Ramadan :D no can DRINK, & the same routine is done all over again. I think I will spend most of this weekend sleeping.

Book Review: Forbidden Love By Norma Khouri

The other day i went to virgin & took this book which when I started reading couldn't stop till I finished it. The book is based on a true story of a Jordanian woman who got killed to regain her families honor! (Which is an honor killing, a murder of women; that is supposed to cleanse the family name of any dishonor attached to it caused by a woman), deeply touching story about how women are taken to be less humans in Jordan. The story teller is Norma Khouri, who is the best friend of the diseased Dalia which got killed for loving a Christian man. 3/4 of the book is about how Jordanian people take women as less human being & how murder is the destiny of any woman that KNOWS a man (no adultery is necessary to kill her).

In Kuwait although we have a very conservative society & most of the people here don’t agree to relationships young people don’t give a damn most of Kuwaiti girls & boys had relationships directly or indirectly. We have a bit of small space to get both genders mixed with in limits for sure & what ever is off the limit is hidden well. Regardless if what went on the relationship people DON'T KILL their daughters for "JUST" knowing guys or falling in love, it goes as far as punishing them but murder! NO WAY, Just because she knew a guy!! Hell all of the girls out there did it & every one knows that.

I don’t deny the fact there are girls who didn’t have relationships & believe in the boundaries their families had drawn for them but a slip occurs. We are humans not machines & by the holy book of Qura'an we are supposed to make mistakes because we are humans, things happen!! . So I thought the punishment was over reacted & since I went to Jordan several times as a child I really didn’t hear of honor killings till Al-Jazera channel aired a program about that in Jordan where innocent women are killed & men don’t get punished since the crime is honor related & now this touching book.

Norma Khouri escaped with the help of the Christian guy (Michael) who fell in love with her life time friend, she went to Greece then as she says & the book's last pages state now living in Australia. The book when published made it to be called a best seller, so after I read it … at a moment this book made me cry it’s shameful to see women treated like that so I decided with the aid of the internet resources provided by the end of the book to do something YOU too can :} just log into this site & you will SEE

ABSOLUTELLY NOTHING, do you wonder why the site she posted on the end of the book is not WORKING because ARABS have a fetish for LYING & they are masters in it.

After all that! SHE IS FAKE, the book is NOT based on a true story. The writer Norma Khouri lived for 3 years ONLY in Jordan & paid a short visit to Jordan in the year 2000, she lived all her life in the USA married with 3 kids! Lives now in Australia where her publisher Random House sponsored her for a temporary residence visa. After her lies have been exposed her visa is in threat but she claimed she has evidence that the story was true, till the moment she didn’t prove that the story actually happened.

Lying got this book to be denied by all people & throwing a good cause down the drain, was it too difficult for the writer to say this is a fictitious story just to give people a glimpse of what is happening in Jordan? But I guess it’s a thing that runs in her blood. Unless she proves that the book was NOT a LIE the people who got compassionate with the honor killing issue will not believe that such things even exist. A writer's wealth is his/her integrity.

A day in Kuwait

The following took place Sunday, 24/10/2004


** Work 9 am.

** Out from work to Al-Sayer for car service at 9:30 am, its easy since am in a ministry... STILL :'( .

**Back to work, was told that car will finish by 2hrs.

**While wating for my ride to get me to the service garage in Al-Rai infront of me there was a parking Touareg & realised its eyes (head lights I know ;p but I like to call them that!!) are very nice



**Got to Al-Sayer at 12:25pm, one thing bothered me about their service is although I called in advance so they wash the car before I come THEY didn't @@ the workers said that" we didn't because not all customers like their cars to be washed & also don't like to wait for the wash!". I mean if they do it then call the customer to tell him/her the car is done where the delay would be? shouldn't the washing be among the regular service routine :} because although they say its free I don't think so :> for sure its taked from the amount payed for the service & if so it was free WHO doesn't want to see their car clean ??. Any how I wrote this & put it in the complains box & also sent them an e-mail & the next service at 10,000 KM will show if there is a change or not.

Soug Sharg :} these two women are standing up high in there, I absolutelly LOVED them their dara3aa's especailly because they do look like old women's dara3aa's they were very lovely if I knew or saw the artist that sculptured them I would congratulate him on the nice statues although the materials they are made from are not difficult to work with (I think) but the shape is nice LOVE THEM :D.

**Last stop of the day was for coffee also at soug sharg although I hate the starbucks there because its always busy but luckely it wasn't that day :}, had a double tall ice mocha with caramel inside & less ice. Saw this nice ad in starbucks right above my favourite table there



which somehow reminded me of moodless which once was the blog of the week.

Check it on*up dated* melody channel (click on the clip Number *up dated* 12 at the end of the web page, to view it on the net) it's on all the time on TV. I first saw it Saturday at that time I mostly liked singer's voice & the guy in the video very cute with a very innocent smile, seemed very polite & gentle. The story took my heart too but still didn't take it seriously I was on my way out. Monday when I saw it I really did cry I lived it, the singers voice was touching in the video they acted very well & was very romantic with the small things in it like the pearl!!, the places where they had time together on the beach so simple, romantic and the whole song revolves around seeking pure true love. The reason I was extra touched by this is the lack of that simple yet breathtaking love, people are more materialized here add to that the family thing where you have to check if your families are compatible or not ……… & all of that annoying PURE MATERIAL community we live in forces us to look for.

So this post is for true love where ever it may exist :}.

Child Abuse

This will probably be one of the most controversial posts I will ever post, which AI tried not to discuss since I want this blog to be quiet & a free of pain space, little nagging is ok but being so damn serious wasn't on mind BUT the "new girl at work" just couldn't stop pushing me to it. A few days ago I commented on MadM2000's child Abuse cartoon, As if this guy predicts :) this is not the first time he says something & it happens ! One way or an other not only me think so take a look at what Zaydoun had to say !!.

The story began with the new girl as a conversation she started with other girls since I decided to block her :} it started about how kids are stubborn these days etc...

So she was like
"I hit my daughter to discipline her since she was 1 year old!".Note she was proud when said that !!

When other girls asked her why do u do so to a very young child? She replied with what??

"She moves a lot around!!". Made it sound like a crime committed by her child @@

At this moment I COLD NOT STAY QUITE, I was like
"its because you are not a mother!!".

She looking at me surprised since I did take the window up on her (Q80 expression رافعه الجام عليها) so

she said: N3M

Me: If you were a mother where is your heart when you beat her? la o you brag about it & claim you fear GOD !! Don't you know this is 7raam to do to a child? I don't blame her if she hates you.

Her (as I expected): Kefi hathi 6reqti blt3aml m3a my baby! This is how I treat her when I can't stand her.

Me *while she was talking was quiet, angry, sad, pitiful of the poor child & just left the office since it will be a stupid conversation & she nor I will be convinced with the others opinion*

Its not a joke nor something to laugh about as she & many others think, that you do it today & then after a few years you laugh about it with your child.

That child will hate you
You prove that you don't deserve to be blessed with a child
You are committing a crime towards YOUR CHILD, which I would not blame if she/he throws You away when you get old & lonely
That child will not be normal all of his/her life

Think about that young parents!. Change starts with a simple touch, start it in your minds for a change.

Happened today

Things happened today at work, oddly because usually work is dull & very calm typical government administrative work with no public contact.



*On the way to work I wonder… What is it with Kuwaiti drivers and the space between cars?They seem to hate it they don’t keep it and if they see you keep it they cross over you using it! As if there is something irritating in free space between cars. Lately I spoke a lot about the traffic subject & will do more because it's crazy out there.



*In a hall I don't cross usually to go to my office but did today there was an amazing Arabian coffee aroma filling the atmosphere very refreshing, which made me want a cup but then again I looked at the heat reserving cup in my hand for my home made cappuccino & said don’t worry your still my coffee :}.



*The new girl in the departments first day was today, she apparently knew me in college but I don’t & never was much of a social girl always liked a little closed circle of friends & a very strict relation with colleagues the only activity I categorize as being social is participating in the MIS club at KU-CBA, once tried to join the art work shop in my college but didn’t have time for it. ANY how am way out of the subject back to the girl who asks about what is under your figure nail which is a thing I DO NOT LIKE; she was keeping her self busy writing numbers!! At 7:20 am till it got to 8:30 & kept doing that when ever she is free sorry her tongue is free from words!! . I like numbers too & always challenge my mind in mathematical equations all the time, but it felt freaky when she kept hiding the papers in her bag!



*Went out from the office got some news papers from a jm3eya (supermarket) branch close by to at least use some of the free time I have at work to read the news. So back to the new girl I sit at my desk she is right in front of me reaches out & TAKES one of the papers that I just put on the table to read it & after she TOOK it,

she said: Mumken ?!

I wanted to tell her are you asking me to pretend that your polite or your just telling me you will use something that I didn’t give you the permission to use yet you already did use?, but thought like she is new I don’t want to be unfriendly as appose to what I am like & somehow was in shock of her action she seemed polite!! Then I got back to NOT being judgmental :} and not be deceived by looks. So I did a small polite note in front of her luckily if she got it she would spared her self a lecture later by me if the same thing occurs.



*Back to the new girl, I go out from the office for a minute then back to see her reading MY news paper now :} the one I left open!! So I gave her a look & was about to talk & she immediately closed it then

said : tbenha?.

I was like : E ana a9ln knt ga3da agraha !o 5let'ha shwi o kani rdeit. "with a LOOK"

What is wrong with her? I hated that & took a decision to be very strict with her & talk only about work if any other subject is on the table I wont participate with her.



* Was in a meeting Female majority, the main point I got from it is :

NEVER GO IN A MEETING WITH ONLY WOMEN IN IT,

at least NOT WITH women like the women I was with today. What happened to talking? Why shouting took its place? Although the majority of them look as if they are strict Islamists didn’t Islam order women to be polite or is it about the external look only? This is regardless of the fact that they should be more politely raised!!!!. The most bad part that ruined it is the departments manager she didn’t moderate the meeting it was every one talking at the same time, me a listener disgusted one of the way this whole thing is done it’s a shame to be called a meeting.

لو بكتب بعد ماراح اخلص لان الموقع فعلا مثير للاهتمام، من ناحية المقالات اهي مو الشي اللي توقعته شخصيا انه يكون موجود ببلوق. شخصية بلوبوز مبدعه و افكارها على بساطتها الا انها تجذبني. اكثر ما يعجبني اهو حس الطفوله اللي نلقاه بالاكتشافات اللي يقوم بها للنظر الى اشياء يوميه معتاده كمعجون اسنان مثلا !! و الكثير من التجارب البسيطه و المشوقه بنفس الوقت ... اراء عفويه و بساطه بالتصميم تحلى بها هذا الموقع و التي كانت جميله بنظري لدرجة انها تجذبني يوميا لاقرأ ما لدى بلوبوز من قول .

الأرجاء الأخرى من الموقع هي كالتالي

A blast from the past

Grendiser :}

My best action cartoon EVER, and of course Duke Fleet as I mentioned before is my prince charming. So the following two places that the pictures show are in Kuwait. where exactly? that is for you to explore since they are a secret :} I can't just tell you where Grendiser gets out from.

Wonder why this post?! I used to pretend that they are long gates for Grendiser to go out from as dad drove by when I was a kid. So this post is for the old days :P

Kuwaiti Traffic solutions ! (27/9/2004 @ 4:48 PM)

Yesterday while I was out there was a traffic jam because of an accident ! Traffic stops every where in the world because of accidents.. The thing that is amazing here is the Kuwaiti way of dealing with it (assuming all 20 or more cars passed by and dealt with the situation in a very impolite way were driven by Kuwaiti people!) the car in the red square had a driver ( like the other 20 or so who were before him/her & after him/her) that thought he/she is above the traffic jam & law too ! So simply he/she can use the safety lane to jump off other people & be ahead of them .. WHY !!??

This is one of the things Kuwaiti people should change, & yeah one more thing please DO NOT let any one crossover you even if you can spare the space UNLESS they are polite enough to signal, :} because I like being "n7esa" with the people who don't use their car's yellow light to signal.

Also there is a thing I wonder about, in the end of the traffic jam there was ONLY an ambulance with a person on the floor & I found out that ALL this traffic is not from the accident it self (cars have been removed to the safe lane on the road) its from the cars passing by & the drivers STOP to watch the man on the floor !! Its the act of "6masha" as Kuwaitis say! I hate that too & wonder what is the pleasure in watching a person beside a spot of blood ?!

Will they go like
Person A : Hey I saw a nice thing on the road
person B : Wallah !!! Wein?? eshlon??
Do u thing he/she will say a new GREEN space
Person A : A dead guy !

How would that be close to be watched/told ?

Confusion !!

There seems to be a confusion about my "blog of the week" weekly article, that revolves around picking a blog to write about each week.. the thing I would like to note that this is NOT a ranking for blogs :} usually things I like to rank are steady things at least for a while of time like a month, we all know in the internet & blogging world there is a new blog every day.. Therefore every week there is something new & hence a new blog to write about. If the number right beside the article made some people get confused or think this is a rank well its not on two bases:

1- The number included in the title indicates the article number not the blog rank ELSE I would have written that in each article.

2- I didn’t include a table or a list of the blogs there fore they are not ranked to be 1st or the 10th.

So it's not about being first or last its about writing some words about blogs I liked & by these words wish to promote them & let other people enjoy what I had a nice time reading about.
